all of the above conditions can lead to both cracking of the concrete and corrosion of the steel rebar.

FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rebar has arisen as preferable substitute to fill the defect of normal rebar.

and every shape used in steel rebar can also be produced in FRP.
